MTR appoints Sonnamera Pte Ltd for distribution to the Modern Trade and General trade in Singapore. MTR is soon made available to 500 outlets and successfully secures listings of 26 SKU’s in NTUC Fairprice. MTR Snacks are successfully launched in 2015. TV and Radio campaigns support the on the ground marketing activities to increase awareness and market share. New items like Cuppa Poha and Cuppa Upma are launched in 2016 bringing the number of SKU’s available in Singapore to 140. MTR is the category leader in Ready to eat foods and breakfast mixes. In 2016 MTR Badam drink crosses sales of 1.5 Million cans in Singapore.
